WHO WE ARE
Based in Wilmington, North Carolina, the Wilmington Advocacy & Protest Organization (WAPO) was created to administer information about local activism and protest-related endeavors and to serve as a resource to support interested parties in their efforts.
Founded by four Wilmington residents in the wake of the George Floyd nation-wide protests, WAPO aims to connect local protestors and activists with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to safely and effectively participate in protests and advocacy outreach.
